  • Fuel your workouts

Eating a good source of healthy carbohydrates before your workout can help improve your exercise performance.


  • Keep hydrated

It enables your body to burn fat more effectively whilst helping maintain your blood pressure and regulating body temperature .

This will help lubricate your joints making your movements more fluid and also helps with muscle strength and control.


  • Don’t skip the warm-up/cool down

Always warm up before exercise and include some dynamic stretching and with some static stretching especially when you finish.


Remember these top 3 training rules:


  • Feet should be hip width apart and front facing

  • Abdominals ‘core’ engaged with bum tucked under

  • Keep your shoulders relaxed, back and down.
